For a long stretch of my life, I didn't like being in my own skin. I'd dodge the beach every summer, make up reasons to skip pool days, and pick clothes based on what would hide the most. It sounds dramatic, but if you've lived it you know exactly what I'm talking about.
I tried the usual stuff. Crash diets, random workout splits I found online, a few weeks on, a few months off. Nothing stuck because nothing was actually built for me. I'd lose a bit, gain it back, and feel even worse than when I started.
The thing that actually changed everything wasn't a magic program. It was deciding I was done living like that, and then showing up every single day, even when it was boring, even when the scale didn't move, even when life got messy. Discipline over motivation. Consistency over intensity.
Over the years I got obsessed with the craft. Programming, nutrition, sleep, recovery, the mental game. I tested it all on myself first so I'd know what genuinely works and what's just noise. Now I get to walk other people through the same climb, properly this time, without the years of guessing.
